The introduction of this new product has completely changed where Topcon MC sits on the ladder in comparison to its competitors. This new 10.1” screen is built with GorillaⓇ Glass to handle heavy operations and deliver a clear picture. Let’s put the GX-90 up against its competitors, shall we?

Key features…

• 10.1” Display

The GX-90 is Topcon’s biggest machine control display to date.

• Multi-touch display

New multi-touch technology on the screen allows users to pan around the screen with ease to view the machine/design from different angles. Multi-touch lets users pinch-to-zoom on their screen instead of using +/- buttons like in earlier models.

• Supports both portrait and landscape orientation

To help operators maximise their operation, the GX-90 can be orientated either portrait or landscape, which can be really helpful to operators when viewing design work in a way that helps them understand their workflow a little easier.

• Linux Operating System

Topcon have stepped away from Windows CE to create their own Linux-based Topcon Operating System (.tos). Giving them total control and product stability. 

• USB-C Connectivity

A smaller USB-C connector on the front of the screen allows us to experience their new display, as it takes up very little space on the front of the display.

• Ignition Power

The GX-90 can now be connected straight to the machine's ignition, taking away the need for a power button for a separate power-up cycle. Providing the screen is plugged in, the GX-90 will power up at the turn of a key!

• GorillaⓇ Glass

To help with a rugged design, ready to withstand the heaviest of tasks, the GX-90 is built with GorillaⓇ Glass.

Already, we’re hearing compliments from our fitters and machine operators. Hearing comments that operators view Topcon MC as the best in the market after this new release is really exciting for us as a Topcon Authorised Dealer. As always, with new things, we’ve found a few points we’d like Topcon to adapt for the UK markets and already, these changes are underway! The GX-90 has really boosted Topcon in the machine control game, we’re excited to keep supplying more of these screens and putting more smiles on operators' faces.
