DS 6mm x 80m pipe tracer / flexi trace
This Pipe Tracer (Flexitrace) provides a lightweight and compact solution for locating ducts, pipes and drains.
The unit can easily be transported and deployed by one person and provides an alternative to traditional pipe location techniques using a Cobra Rod / Duct Rod and a Sonde Transmitter for the location of plastic pipes, pipe / duct obstructions or collapses.
With a built-in sonde and an internal copper line running the length of the reel this allows the entire length of the reel to be traced from above ground.
You will need a signal generator to power this reel, simply connect your direct connection leads to the reel which will then send a signal down to your sonde.
If you would like to trace the full line connect your connection led to 1 port on the reel and the other onto an earth stake.
The reel can be traced to a depth of 3meters depending on the pipe construction and soil conditions, the sonde is 9mm in diameter meaning it is suitable in pipes as small as 12mm
The rod is constructed from fibre glass and is mounted to a robust steel frame, the reel also has a brake fitted.
