iDig Connect 2D+
The iDig Connect range features an improved and more powerful Dual-Core Touchscreen Control Box and upgraded solar powered wireless Bluetooth sensors. While keeping all the benefits of 2D Touch, such as effortlessly transferring between machines and installation in less than two hours and working to within +/- 10mm, with or without a laser level. The Connect 2D+ sees the addition of a GNSS Spotman receiver. The Spotman receiver provides the option to use GPS for level guidance. The operator is now able to track around site using the live updates from the Spotman to guide them into the dig level.
The GNSS Spotman is easily detachable and can be used as a rover for gathering information on-site. Combine with the iPoint software available on android devices and you can easily gather information share as a .DXF file directly to the Control Box and/or remotely to the office.
Models and layouts can be displayed on the 7” touchscreen control box, providing guidance and levels to the operator for efficient and accurate grading.
Fully upgradeable from the 2D system, the Connect 2D+ continues the iDig trend by being the most cost-effective Machine Control solution on the market, and with the addition of the removable GNNS Spotman receiver it remains the most versatile too.
Installs to additional machines can be carried out for as little as £350+vat for a set of sensor plates for a standard machine. The machine can then be calibrated and the system including screen cradle and LED bar mount can be moved between machines. For users looking for an even easier way of transferring between machines, a full install kit including plates, cradle and in cab cables is available for £1,450+vat
The system is compatible with the following Tilt Rotators: Engcon EPS, Steelwrist XConnect & XBridge and Rototilt RPS. Depending on the model of rotator, the iDig system may require an additional tilt sensor for the tilt. The rotation information is provided by the rotators rotation sensor if fitted.
