Radiodetection Genny 4
The Genny 4 is designed to be used with the Radiodetection CAT4 range of cable avoidance tools; other brands of CAT can be used providing they work on 33kHz. It is also compatible with the Genny 3.
Robust, powerful and fully portable this is a must have for any excavation professional.
Powered by 4x D-cell alkaline batteries the Genny 4 will run for 40 hours in standard mode or 15 hours in continuous mode using direct connection leads. Using the induction method, it will run for 28 hours in standard mode or 9 hours in boost mode.
A Genny is essential for use in areas where there are utilities that don’t generate signals or utilities that aren’t in use.
The Genny 4 as a 10x signal boost feature which sends the signal deeper and further. Additionally, the simultaneous small diameter locates frequency design help detection of smaller cables and spurs.
All the Radiodetection Genny 4 & CAT 4’s are network rail approved.
