Meet the team

Daisy Roberts

Meet Daisy!

Originally aiming for a career in special effects and artistry, Daisy landed herself at Sealand in April 2020. She began working as Service Advisor in our workshop, and after completing 12 months in this role Daisy decided she wanted to be handed on with the kit she saw day to day. She took on a new role dealing with hire and sales demonstrations of our construction laser equipment.

Her ability to learn the functions and capabilities of the equipment, and confidently provide seamless demonstrations got her recognised and was offered the chance to progress to the more technical side of the business in Geo and Machine Control Support.

In November 2022, Daisy took the step up to join Team Technical and has never looked back! Her day to day now sees both over the phone and face to face support, as well as meeting with new and existing customers to speak about how we can aid them in their projects. She regularly attends site to help with our machine control set ups and repairs, meaning she can keep well in the loop with how sites are running and how our kit is performing. Thus, giving her the nickname Queen MC.

In her downtime you’ll likely find Daisy out on long hikes and partaking in protection style training with her dog, Alonso. She once competed in Synchronised Ice Skating at a world level but hung up her skates to focus on her career and dog sports.
