Trimble GCS 900 Excavator Guidance System
Now a Legacy product, purchasing components of the GCS series is no longer considered a viable option. We recommend purchasing the latest Earthworks system to future proof your fleet. The GCS series is still supported for service and hire requirements.
Trimble’s GCS 900 Grade Control system is available in both 2D and 3D and is compatible with Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Compact Graders, Wheeled Loaders and Compaction rollers.
Trimble GCS/CCS Systems are configurable for Trimble’s Site Connection and Network Connectivity through the SNM940 (3G) and SNM941 (4G) Cell & Wifi Modem. Users can synchronise topo data from the machine and upload models through the cloud. This is available on a yearly subscription. Please contact us for further information.

Tilt Rotate Compatibility
Trimble GCS900 is curently compatible with Rototilt, Steelwrist, Engcon
If enabled by the tilt rotator manufacture, the I series will read the attachments rotation sensor information via a CAN connection. If the tilt rotate is not set up to provide tilt information to a third party, an additional Trimble IMU sensor will be required to provide tilt information.
Remote Support
System access for trouble shooting is available through Works Manager.
Sites, data and surfaces are managed through Works Manager which is sold on a license basis with licenses for desktop users and connected machines. Data can be transferred too and from the machine to monitor progress and quality control.

Available Upgrades
MS975 Smart Antenna – The lighter MS975 offers a cost-effective alternative for contractors who need a highly accurate GNSS receiver at a lower price point. Typically used as a pair when operating 3D Dual GPS.
